Things to do in Solsona and around
Solsona is a medieval town and the capital of the Solsonès, in the Pre-Pyrenees of Lleida, Catalonia. Hotel Solsona Centre is at Carrer Àngel Guimerà 3: the old town is about two minutes away on foot, and by car it is easy to head out to the mountains, to Cardona or to the Llosa del Cavall reservoir.

The old town and the cathedral, on foot
The cathedral of Santa Maria and the Diocesan and Regional Museum are a few minutes' walk from the hotel. You can explore the old town without a car, and there is free parking close to the hotel.
Skiing and mountains: Port del Comte
The Port del Comte ski resort is about 30 km from the hotel. Solsona is a good base for going up: skiing in winter, and hiking and mountain biking the rest of the year.
Day trips by car
The Llosa del Cavall reservoir is about 18 km away and is a pleasant place for a walk. About 20 km away is Cardona, with its castle and the Salt Mountain. There are also wineries in the area that you can visit.
Carnival and local festivals
If you are coming for Carnival or any other festival in town, we recommend checking availability well in advance: the hotel is small and family-run.
